How It Works

Availability
Telemedicine service is available for all residents of your facility from 6 PM to 8 AM Monday through Thursday and 24-hour availability on weekends and holidays.
Support
QIPP compliance including registered nursing coverage to help with staffing shortages in these challenging times.
Compliance
Policy and procedure assistance to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Communication
Communication with the resident's primary care team to ensure continuity of care and smooth follow-up.
Technology
Telemedicine services are provided via a iPad (supplied by Telecare).
Meet Our Team
Ron Rankin, MD
Ron Rankin, MD, has been a licensed physician for over 20 years. Dr. Rankin graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, and has practiced in Amarillo and the surrounding area since 1998.
Over the last 15 years, Dr. Rankin has narrowed his focus to Geriatrics, Hospice, and Palliative Care. He is on staff with several hospitals in the area.
A veteran of the US Armed Forces, Dr. Rankin is a member of the American Medical Directors Association, the Potter Randall County Medical Society, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Texas Medical Association. He is a Certified Medical Director with the American Medical Directors Association.
Dr. Rankin is married with four children.
John Dzik, DO
John Dzik, DO, has been a practicing physician for over 33 years. Dr. Dzik graduated from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, and completed his residency in Family Practice at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock.
Dr. Dzik served the United States Air Force in a variety of positions with the 64th Medical Squadron at Reese Air Force Base, including as Chief of Aeromedical services. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Society. Over the last 15 years, he has practiced in nursing facilities in Amarillo and the surrounding area.
Dr. Dzik is married and active in his church.
Marc Henson, MD
Marc Henson, M.D. is a facility care specialist who has provided quality patient care in the Amarillo area for nearly two decades. Dr. Henson enjoys working with patients and families to provide the most appropriate individualized care possible. He believes maintaining sound communication with healthcare staff leads to better outcomes and quality measures. While currently the medical director of multiple area facilities, Dr. Henson works with other physicians and healthcare providers to ensure that patients’ needs are seamlessly met.
Dr. Henson is a board-certified physician that has lived most of his life in Amarillo, Texas. He received his medical degree from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Outside of work Dr. Henson enjoys the outdoors and traveling with his wife, Shelley, and their two children.
